Fastar, Inc. was incorporated by Doug Thonus in the spring of 1998. Fastar's management team has over 50 years of fastener experience and a thorough understanding of fastener manufacturing, applications, marketing, distribution, and service, dating back to the 1960's.

Doug currently serves on the B18 Subcommittee 8 - The Fastener Standards Committee of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers.
